We, the Organizers of the Hackathon event, are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations for behavior during the Hackathon. By participating in the event, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct.

Inclusivity and Respect

Treat all participants with respect and courtesy, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, physical appearance, disability, or any other characteristic. Be mindful of your language and actions to create an inclusive atmosphere for everyone.

Collaboration and Teamwork

Intellectual Property and Ownership

Ensure that all code, assets, and resources used in your projects are either open source, properly licensed, or your original creations.

Non-Discrimination and Harassment

Harassment, discrimination, or any form of bullying will not be tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to, offensive comments, gestures, or imagery. Be mindful of your words and actions to ensure a harassment-free environment for all participants.

Professionalism

Maintain a professional and ethical conduct throughout the Hackathon. Avoid any behavior that may harm the reputation of the event, organizers, or fellow participants. Be punctual, prepared, mindful and responsible for your actions.

Safety and Security

Ensure the safety and security of all participants and their belongings. Report any suspicious or concerning incidents to the organizers promptly. Follow any safety guidelines provided by the event Organizers and venue staff.

Social Media and Online Conduct

Ensure that your interactions on social media platforms and online communication channels related to the hackathon are respectful and professional. Avoid posting offensive or inflammatory content that could harm the reputation of the event or its participants. Remember that your online behavior reflects on the hackathon community as a whole, so use social media responsibly and positively.

Conflict Resolution

In the event of conflicts or disagreements, we encourage Participants to address them in a constructive and respectful manner. Open communication and active listening are key to resolving conflicts effectively. If you encounter a disagreement, try to understand the other person's perspective and work towards finding a mutually agreeable solution. If necessary, seek assistance from event Organizers or designated mediators to facilitate resolution.

Feedback and Improvement

We value feedback from Participants, and are continuously looking to improve the Hackathon experience. Please feel free to share your thoughts, suggestions, and concerns with us at any time. We welcome both positive feedback and constructive criticism as we strive to make each hackathon better than the last. You can provide feedback anonymously if you prefer, and all input will be considered seriously to enhance future events.

Accessibility

We are committed to making the hackathon accessible to all participants, regardless of their abilities. If you require any accommodations to fully participate in the event, please inform us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and ensure that everyone can engage fully in the hackathon activities.
